Round Trip Excursion to Clare The excursion will depart Owosso at 9:00 a.m. each day and will arrive in Mt. Pleasant around 12:00 noon. After a short layover, the train will proceed on to Clare. Arriving back in Owosso by 8:00 p.m. We offer a few different options for this trip: you may purchase tickets for the Owosso-Mt. Pleasant portion where you will disembark at Mt. Pleasant and enjoy lunch on your own, or you may also board the train in Mt. Pleasant at 1:00 p.m. for a short trip to Clare and back. Those interested in riding for the entire trip from Owosso to Clare and back may purchase tickets that include a boxed lunch.
Round Trip, Including Boxed Lunch: Adult $125 each, Child (12 & Under) $100 each
Round Trip, Owosso to Mt. Pleasant: Adult $99 each, Child (12 & Under) $79 each
Short Round Trip, Mt. Pleasant to Clare: $25 each

We invite you to support the efforts of the Steam Railroading Institute by participating this special fundraising event to be held at our site in Owosso. We offer you a chance to sit in the engineer's seat and actually run the locomotive back and forth on trackage within our Owosso site. Experience the job of your ancestors or live out your childhood dream by participating in this event. $300 per 20-minute time slot, limited quantity available. All proceeds from this event will benefit the "1225 Fund".
