The Steam Railroading Institute's Visitor Center & Museum is located in Owosso, Michigan, approximately 30 miles northeast of Lansing.

From the southwest, take either I-96 or I-69 to M-52 north to Owosso.

From the southeast or north, take I-75 to I-69 West, then M-71 west to Owosso.

From the west take US-27 to M-21 east to Owosso.

In Owosso, we're off of South Washington Street. Our driveway is located just north of the Great Lakes Central crossing. Please park clear of the railroad tracks and any vehicle routes. Check in at the Visitor Center. We ask that you respect Great Lakes Central Railway property by confining your visit to our area only.
