The Steam Railroading Institute is best known for their all-day steam excursions. Every year trips are scheduled and carry thousands of passenger around Michigan behind one of the largest operating steam locomotives in the United States. What are you waiting for?     The year of membership starts in the month of processing. You can expect your membership card(s) up to 8 weeks for postal delivery. You may fax (989-723-1225) or mail membership applications. If you have any questions concerning membership, please call (989) 725-9464.



    If you wish to volunteer, a membership is required and you must be a least 16 years or older (anyone the ages of 16 or 17 MUST have a guardian or parent present when on site).
